05/10 - Capital Letters – Headline News - (2015 Vinyl Reissue) – LP – Greensleeves Records

The reissue program continues in 2015, and definitely "Headline News" have been always one of the great marks from Greensleeves Imprint and Chris Cracknell himself as the producer of this LP back in 1979.
Capital Letters were one of the main players in the distinctive homegrown British roots reggae scene that emerged in the late 70's and were also the first group to be signed to Greensleeves. Along with groups like Matumbi, Aswad, Black Slate, Steel Pulse, and Reggae Regular, Capital Letters managed the authentic roots music that was emerging from all corners of the UK, in this case Wolverhampton in the West Midlands, a stone's throw from where Steel Pulse's Handsworth Revolution was taking place.
There's no weak track on this album, that definitely will stand the test of time.
Capital Letters have been reformed in 2013, and Sugar Shack Records from Bristol have released last March 2015 the first all new Group's album in more than 30 years http://www.reggaeportugal.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=324:01-05-capital-letters-wolverhampton-sugar-shack-records&catid=84&Itemid=194&lang=en
