Big Mountain - " Things To Come "

Big Mountain released their first record "Wake Up" in 1992. "Wake Up", a blend of Jamaican Reggae / American Pop, was imediate critical sucess capturated the #1 position on the CMJ World Music Charts. the sucess of "Wake Up"  caught the attention of RCA Records and with that association have been released in 1994 the enourmous Hit "Baby I Love Your Way"  (Peter Frampton's cover)  song that reached #1 position in some places in the globe,   even in Portugal had a lot of Radio airplay, "Baby I Love Your Way" no doubt have became the world theme song of 1994. Later that year Big Mountain would released the first of three albuns with Giant Records "Unity" in 94 (includes the Hit "Baby I Love Your Way")   "Resistance" in 95 and "Free Up" in 97. The recording of  "Free Up" marked a downturn in the relationship between Big Mountain / Giant Records, they parted ways in 1998. After a yearlong they back with the same strenght,  here it is their new project "Things To Come" is a self-produced album for they own label call Rebel Ink, following the same style from the other projects, in my opinion "Jealousy", the harmonious "Island Of Love", "Only One" and "Rainbow People" will be remembered as classics.
