Originally a quartet comprising Tyrone Evans, Bob Andy, Leroy Stamp and Junior Menz, The Paragons envolved from a group called The Blinders. In 1964 Stamp left, and was replaced by the sweet voice of John Holt, junior Menz also left that year, to join The Techniques, his palce taken by Howard Barrett. Between 64 / 65 the group have recorded fantastic songs for Clement Dodd (Studio One) such "Good Luck And Goodbye". By the end of 1965 Bob Andy left to go to a (sensational) solo career and the now trio have sarted recording for Duke Reid, scoring aa series of Jamaican number one songs : "Happy Go Lucky Girl", "On The Beach", "The Tide Is High" , "Wear You The Ball", etc. 

This particular compilation includes songs recorded by the trio John Holt, Tyrone Evans and Howard Barrett, "It’s Like Your Here With Me", "I’m The One Whose To Blame", "Why" and "I Really Do" are beautifull songs, taken from the "The Paragons" archives, Don't miss this one
