The Compilation Album titled " Easy Star Vol.1 " launched in 1998 and the special return of the legendary Jamaican Trio The Meditations in 1999 through their excellent new release called "Ghetto Knowledge" recorder under the American Reggae Label Easy Star Records, have established this Record Label as one of the new coming better choices to get in mind into our Reggae World Sources.The third CD Compilation series titled "Hidden Treasures" has become one of the most wanted for every Reggae Lovers. It has 20 classic tracks, which are truly the hidden treasure to discover. Inside this CD you will find Music treasures since 1980 to 1989 from the Singer / Composer / Musician / Producer - Lincoln "Sugar" Minnot, except "Righteous Kingdom" recorded in 1971. All these tunes were previously recorded under his own Black Roots Reggae Label. It includes 9 songs never released before in any format, specially the tracks "Cross The Border" by the late Nitty Gritty, Lloyd Hemmings "Talk Is Cheap", Trinstan Palmer "Mathematics Love", and the Special "Youth Promotion" by Yami Bolo, who was one of Sugarīs favorites to play on his Sound System. Others great songs featuring in dis CD are : "Jah Black" by Barrington Levy, Tony Tuff " Mary Ann ", a cover of the Bill Withersīs classic "Ain't No Sunshine" perfectly performed by Horace Andy and "African Children" by the late singer Tenor Saw.
